Days in Program as a Function of Days of Case Management
The number of days that a client is
retained in the program is a function of the number of days of case
management received. Note, however, the relationship between days in
program and days of case management is not linear. This suggests that
the first few days of case management are the most important for
maintaining the client in the program.
Case management is
related to keeping the HIV/AIDS client enrolled in the psychosocial
supports program. More case management is "better" than less
case management. However, there is not a direct linear relationship
between the episodes of case management and program retention; the first
few episodes of case management have more to do with program retention
than later episodes.
