Factor Analyses of Facilitators
In a study of clients with HIV asked to cite barriers and facilitators to
obtaining services, two related factors of facilitators to care were identified: those
reflecting positive attributes of the service provider staff and those reflecting tangible
amenities offered by the provider.
The clients profile of perceived service facilitators should be
considered in developing strategies for linking him or her to needed services.
The facilitators to obtaining services reported by
375 HIV
patients/clients can be described in terms of two interrelated overall themes or factors,
as summarized below.
