Test-Retest Reliability in Client Unmet Needs Over the Course of the Treatment Episode

Using data on up to six repeated measurements of client unmet needs, it was found that there is modest (test-retest) reliability for the total unmet needs score in a sample of HIV/AIDS patients. In this case, modest test-retest reliability seems desirable since very high test-retest reliability would suggest that clients are chronically under-treated or may chronically complain about being under-treated rather than respond to changing environments and needs conditions where they face relatively few or many needs as their illness and the treatment environment changes over time.
