Between the start of funding on October 1, 1994, and the
final data
summary including information through June 15, 1999, the Cooperative Agreement Projects
enrolled 2579 males and 2225 females with HIV/AIDS. Only 507 of these
individuals were known to be employed. 3468 were persons of color
living with HIV/AIDS.
The Cooperative Agreement Projects have provided
services to a large and diverse group of men and women living with HIV/AIDS.
The service models of this group of projects have been tested with large
and diverse groups.

Note:
Data were collected from these projects through June 15, 1999. Most
projects had their highest enrollments in Years II, III, and IV. In
Year I there were start-up issues for many projects. In Year V, most
projects stopped admitting new cases around March 1, 1999.
