Knowledge Item:
CA-Special Studies of Outcomes for Older HIV/AIDS Patients-01
Satisfaction with Program Services
Following up on the conclusions of
Knowledge
Items: CA-Program Satisfaction-09, -10,
-11, and
-12,
this Knowledge Item specifically examines some models to see if being an
older adult (50+ years old at enrollment) is related to the client's satisfaction with
community-based psychosocial and medical programs or the patient's
satisfaction with managed-care medical programs provided the by the SPNS
projects. In neither case is satisfaction with services related to
status as an older adult suggesting that the programs are just as highly
successful in helping older patients with HIV/AIDS as they are with
younger populations.
This chart shows the results for all
projects using the item in common to both quality of service
questionnaires.
