Knowledge
Item: CA-Psychosocial Services-30
Probability of Having Received a Type of Service among
Participants at Medical and Psychosocial Projects Pattern Based on Length of Service Episode
This Knowledge Item illustrates the
difference between participants at Medical and Psychosocial service
providers
in terms of the likelihood that a patient will have received at least
one unit of a type of service after a given number of days in the
program. These charts illustrate the difference between these medical
providers, all of whom are providing "integrated" care for
their patients, and the psychosocial service providers, all of whom
are linking their clients to medical providers. Of particular
importance, the psychosocial service providers integrate substance
abuse services directly into their programs.
