The Evaluation and Dissemination
Center or EDC is a collaborative Center run by The Measurement Group with
PROTOTYPES for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
HIV/AIDS Bureau's Special Projects of National Significance between 1994
and 2000.
The Measurement Group was the lead in
the Evaluation and Dissemination Center and primarily responsible for the
majority of its activities, including the cross-cutting national
evaluation, all instruments used in the evaluation, most dissemination products, and this web site. PROTOTYPES was
responsible for national meeting logistics, certain grantee coordination
activities, and some dissemination activities. The EDC supported 27 HRSA
SPNS Cooperative Agreement projects both during their funding cycle (1994
- 1999) and for six months after the projects ended their funding cycle
while national evaluation results were developed, posted on the Internet,
and prepared for publications.
The EDC is funded through March 31,
2000. This web site and all evaluation instruments and results will
continue to be available after that time as The Measurement Group will
assume responsibility for keeping these materials online and for enhancing
them as necessary and appropriate.
