1.
Lesson Learned: Training
is not enough for making lasting change.
How
related to achievements: We
developed a system for change – training process, implementation,
follow-up.
2.
Lesson Learned: Initial
needs assessment was not broad enough and only surveyed some
providers.
How
related to achievements: Skewed
results to high end for provider priorities – had consequences
with initial post-partum survey.
3.
Lesson Learned: Need
leadership at all levels of project.
How
related to achievements: Pieces
with strong leadership rose more successful than others.
4.
Lesson Learned: Developed
a system, but a certain percent of women fall outside the system
(those that have no pre-natal care).
How
related to achievements: Need
to have resources to develop a way to reach women with no pre-natal
care –
"missed opportunities."
