Focus Group Characteristics Form: Final Draft of August 21, 1995


 
Main Purpose The purpose of this module is to record focus group questions, outcomes, and participants.
Description
  • The form allows the user to code the actual or approximate number of individuals impacted by major demographic categories. These data are collected at the aggregate level.
  • The form also codes the types of participants and the purpose of the activity.
  • Additionally, major questions and conclusions derived from the focus group are coded.
Target Projects for Form
  • Any project that conducts focus groups.
Major Evaluation Function
  • To document the usage of focus groups for defining service needs, designing programs, educating clients, developing outreach strategies, etc.
