Standardized Focus Group: Final Draft of February 12, 1996


 
Main Purpose The purpose of this module is to record major episodes of training, presentation, agency outreach, networking, group prevention, and related activities.
Description
  • This form allows the user to code the actual or approximate number of individuals impacted by major demographic categories. These data are collected at the aggregate level.
  • Additionally the form codes the purpose of the activity, the setting, and major topics discussed.
Target Projects for Form
  • Any project that conducts training – whether formally a "training project" or not – or a group presentation, group prevention, educational lectures, agency outreach, or formal public policy advocacy.
  • This form is not designed to formally categorize methods of training, but rather to document training and other "group interventions" that may be conducted by any of the SPNS Cooperative Agreement Projects in the process of implementation.
Major Evaluation Function
  • To code the major "group" activities of the project and the number of people upon which the activity potentially had a direct impact.
