Main Purpose The purpose of this module is to measure the presence and importance of sources of social support.
Description
  • Brief survey is multidimensional measure of perceived social support. Developed for patients in the Medical Outcomes Study (MOS), a two-year study of patients with chronic diseases. Easy administration.
  • Four support scales (emotional/informational, tangible, affectionate, and positive social interaction) and a total score.
  • Focuses on the perceived availability of support.
