| Main Purpose |
The purpose of this module is to provide a
graphic way to rate the individuals general health and current stage of HIV disease. |
| Description |
Module 73 form has three elements:
- Overall rating of patients health (self-rating);
- HIV-disease progression curve (with CD4 count and number of years since initial
exposure); and
- Karnofsky rating scale.
Module 73A form has:
- Karnofsky rating scale; and
- CD4 count and CD4 percent.

| Target Projects for Form |
- Any project providing care to individual clients/patients.
|
| Major Evaluation Function |
- To record and track current stage of disease; and
- To provide a graphic interpretation of current stage of disease in terms of time since
transmission and opportunistic infections that the individual has.
